How Outstanda Pays Students
One of the most common questions we receive is: How does Outstanda pay students? Here’s the breakdown:
Schools purchase a license for access to Outstanda’s coursework and assessments. This license ensures students have high-quality educational content that is both engaging and challenging.
When a student demonstrates mastery in a course — showing they have fully grasped the material — 100% of the license fee can be earned back by the student in the form of rewards from the nonprofit Outstanda. These rewards are designed to motivate and recognize student achievement.
The most important element of this model is that it is fundamentally a curriculum purchase for the school, with no guarantee that students will receive any rewards. This clarity is critical be aligned with legal and budgetary requirements of schools.
This system creates a win-win scenario: schools provide valuable learning opportunities, students are incentivized to excel, and education is transformed into a pathway for both personal growth and tangible rewards.
